Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Sustainability Scientist to
contribute to scientific and technical reporting for sustainability
initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to scientific and technical reporting for Scope 3
programs
Provide expert guidance on the expansion of the quantification
platform across various agroecosystems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the
quantification platform for Carbon credit and Scope 3 programs
Required Qualifications
M.S. in ecosystem science, soil science, agricultural science, or
related discipline, or 4+ years of relevant experience
Experience in emissions accounting or Life Cycle Assessment
Proficient with soil biogeochemical models (e.g., DNDC, DayCent,
RothC)
Comfortable with data analysis languages such as Python, R, or
SQL
Experience in a business environment performing cost/benefit
analyses
