Longview Regional Medical Center has an opening for a RN full
time Nights in our PCU/West Spine department! We provide

- Compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the
specialty area.
- Compliance with standards/policies during assigned shift.
- Supervising, assigning and directing activities of all licensed
and unlicensed caregivers and support staff during their assigned
shift.
- Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient
care and appropriate use of available resources.
- Ensures that Longview Regional's values are reflected in all
aspects of the department's operation.Minimum Requirements:
- Previous Cardiac/Telemetry experience preferred
- Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course preferred
- Previous Critical Care Course preferred
- Current Texas RN license or current Compact state license
- -AHA Healthcare provider BLS; ACLS required within 6 months of
transfer or hire if not current.
- Critical Care Level 1 obtained within first 6 months of
hire
- Advanced certifications and training in Critical Care Nursing
preferred
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an
accredited RN program
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in
Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
- Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon
hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 90 days of
