Description:We are seeking a reliable, bilingual Yard Hand / Laborer (English/Spanish) to join our team at our material and fabrication yard in the oilfield construction industry. This position requires a versatile individual to assist with a variety of tasks, including inventory management, basic machinery maintenance, yard cleanup, and handling detailed paperwork. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Requirements:

• Inventory Management & Paperwork:
  • Perform regular inventory counts of materials, as well as receive shipments through bill of lading verifications.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of inventory items and supplies, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.
  • Assist in managing stock levels and notify supervisors of low inventory or supply needs.
  • Complete basic paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials and equipment.
  • Yard Maintenance & Organization:
    • Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe by performing general cleanup tasks, including sweeping, picking up debris, and maintaining storage areas.
    • Ensure materials, equipment, and tools are stored properly and easily accessible.
    • Assist in unloading and loading materials and equipment when necessary.
    • Basic Machinery Maintenance:
      • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on yard machinery and equipment, including forklifts, loaders, and other tools.
      • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Yard Supervisor for further attention.
      • Communication & Team Support:
        • Effectively communicate in both English and Spanish with team members, supervisors, and visitors.
        • Support the Yard Supervisor and other team members with daily operations and tasks as needed.
        • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and that the yard remains a safe work environment for all employees.
        • Reliable Transportation:
          • Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from the yard each day, as the position does not require travel to remote job sites or job locations. Qualifications:
            • Experience:
              • Previous experience in a labor, construction, or warehouse environment is preferred.
              • Experience in shipping/receiving and basic machinery maintenance is a plus.
              • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred for effective communication.
              • Skills & Abilities:
                • Strong attention to detail, especially in inventory tracking and paperwork.
                • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete tasks efficiently.
                • Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
                • Physical capability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 100 pounds) and perform manual labor.
                • Ability to perform basic machinery maintenance and report issues as necessary.
                • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
                • Safety & Compliance:
                  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to follow safety procedures in the yard.
                  • Must pass a drug and alcohol screening and background check.
                  • Ability to complete any required safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) as needed. Working Conditions:
                    • Work is performed in a material and fabrication yard, with exposure to various weather conditions.
                    • The position requires physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
                    • No travel to remote locations or job sites is required work is conducted solely within the yard.Compensation & Benefits:
