Description:R&D Specialties is a manufacturer, with an in-house panel shop.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team. The Shop Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supervising the daily operations of our workshop/production facility. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to lead a team of skilled technicians and fabricators.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the workshop or production facility, ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.- Manage and coordinate the work of assemblers, providing guidance and support as needed.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical wiring, assembly, and testing.- Develop and implement shop policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized work environment.- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any disciplinary issues.- Order and maintain inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and to address any technical issues.- Develop and implement procedures for the assembly of products, ensuring that all work meets quality standards.- Utilize a caliper to measure and inspect products and materials.- Work with schematics to plan and execute assembly tasks.Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required.- Proven experience in a workshop or production facility, in a supervisory role.- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, and panel assembly.- Experience with hand and power tools.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with attention to details.- Proficient in Microsoft Office.- Strong organizational skills.- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods of time.


Compensation details: 73000-75000 Yearly Salary
